Creative Storytelling Workshop

As we all know, literacy is  important in the education of our children,  but there are so many other ways to tell stories .
This interactive workshop  will show  parents, carers and educators a variety of ways to have fun and

be creative when reading and telling stories.

Books will become a guide or a tool to create fun learning moments.

At the end of the session, all participants will go home with lots of fun ideas to  put into practice the next time they read a story to their children.  Both children and adults will have more fun, a stronger bond with your child will be made and children will want to read more.

This workshop is both informative and interactive.   Inge will show the participants how a story can be adapted, and how books can link up with all areas of learning.     Different methods of storytelling will be practiced including singing, drama, exploring the environment, making it a hands on experience.

I love reading stories a lot more than making up my own.  I also admire all these great authors out there that give us such a great tool to entertain our children with. During my teaching career I based lot of my topics on 1 book and managed to work with it for 2 or more weeks without getting bored.    I was also very lucky to be able to train other teachers while working in Spain and to pass my passion for books with them and how to use them in an original way while helping children to learn so much more then reading.  With this Creative Storytelling Workshop I will give everybody who attends  the same skills to have fun with books and make them passionate about storytime.
